SAME Cafe: Affordable, Organic Food

How’s this for a cafe idea? Pay for what you feel your meal is worth, and the menu changes daily with fresh, organic ingredients. That’s the idea behind SAME Cafe, located on Colfax Ave. SAME stands for “So All May Eat” and is dedicated to helping people afford quality, healthy meals.
They serve mainly lunch, and their menu includes pizzas, salads, soups and desserts.

Need Good Home for Dressers

I have two 1940’s dressers that I have will no room for in my storage unit. One is a good size 10, yes, 10 drawer horizontal dresser and one 5 drawer dresser with a built in “secret” compartment with original glass mirror and a cedar lined drawer.
These dressers are perfect for extra storage - they have been a savior in storage-challenged apartments.
I will give them to a fellow BA resident at no cost. The only catch is that you have to move them. I am moving from Shambhala at the end of April, but if you are interested, I’d be more than happy to let them go sooner.

Party with Oscar, February 24

The Denver Film Society hosts the official Oscar Night America 2008 fancy-dress, Vegas-style Academy Awards-viewing party benefit, with light dinner, charity gambling, showgirls, Mile High Sci-Fi comedy and more. Festivities begin at 5:30 pm at the Starz Film Center. Cost: $15-25.

Prana, Our Newest Building, Debuts

We’re announcing our latest work of art, Prana, which is located at 550 Logan. Prana is a 15-unit building, named after the Sanskrit word meaning vital, life-sustaining energy.
Prana is also the first Boutique Apartments Luxe building, that features furnished and unfurnished apartments with luxury amenities such as flat screen TVs, eNooks, intelligent closet and pantry organizers, and Murphy beds.

Snow shoveling saint

I’ll post a note in our building, but I’d like to thank the kind soul at LaMont who has been shoveling the walks at what must be the crack of dawn. Even the little path to my car was clear this morning. 
I don’t recall this being a service provided by Boutique, so someone in or near our building should definitely get a gold star.
This is the difference between just living in a building....and being part of a community.
