HELP
In this section you'll find information on how to register and login, and also how to post your own items in BoutiqueSpeak. If you don't find the help you're looking for, please email us at help@boutiquespeak.com.
BoutiqueSpeak is a resource for the residents and staff of Boutique Apartments, so only residents with valid and verifiable email accounts can register. Boutique Apartments reserves the right to delete or cancel any fraudulent accounts.
HOW TO REGISTER
To register, you must be a current resident of Boutique Apartments. Registering as a member will allow you to post an entry at BoutiqueSpeak. To register:
- Click on the "Register" link under the Members heading in the right-hand column. This will take you to the Member Registration section.
- Follow the instructions on the Member Registration screen, and fill in the required fields.
- Read the terms of service and check the box agreeing to these terms, then click the "submit" button to finish.
- A site administrator will activate your account and notify you by email when it is ready for use.
HOW TO LOG IN
Once your registation has been activated, you can log in by doing the following:
- Click on the "Login" link under the Members heading in the right-hand column. This will take you to the Login screen.
- Enter your username and password, then click the "submit" button.
- If you've forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password" link, and follow the instructions on the subsequent screen.
Once you're logged in, you can post an item, comment on other posts, and edit your account information.
HOW TO POST AN ENTRY
To publish an item on BoutiqueSpeak:
- Log in to the site, following the instructions above.
- Click on the "Post an Entry" link under the Members heading in the right-hand column. This will take you to the entry screen.
- Enter the title of your post into the "Title" field.
- Enter the text of your post into the "Body" field.
- Select the category that your post should be listed in.
- Click "Submit" to submit your post.
All messages posted at this site express the views of the author, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the owners and administrators of this site. By registering at this site you agree not to post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, or that violate any laws. We will permanently ban all users who do so. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or move any messages for any reason.
HOW TO POST A COMMENT
To comment on a posting on BoutiqueSpeak, you don't need to register or log in. However, we reserve the right to remove any comments that we deem inappropriate. To post a comment:
- Click on the "comments" link at the bottom of the desired post. This will take you to a screen with a comment form.
- If you are already logged in, just fill out the field with your comment and click "Submit."
- If you aren't logged in, you will see additional fields for your name and email. Fill in your name, email, (a URL is optional) and your comments and click "Submit."
